COPPER BOWL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

QUALIFYING APPLICATION

Qualifying Information & Procedures:

1. Four Qualifiers in Main Draw: Four spots are reserved in each singles draw for qualifiers.

2. Who May Enter: Players who are on the official Copper Bowl alternate list may enter the Copper Bowl qualifying tournament

3. Dates of Play: The Copper Bowl Qualifying tournament will be held at the Hilton El Conquistador Resort and Country Club December 30 & 31, 2007.

4. How to Enter: Players must fill out an application form (print one from the link on the top of this page titled "Qualifying Application") and have it received in the Copper Bowl office with payment by December 15, 2007 (12:00 noon EST). This form may be faxed with a credit card number or mailed. All mail entries must be received in the office by December 15, 2007. Please mail early.

5. Acceptance: Players accepted into the qualifying singles will be notified by email and phone. Please be sure to include current information on your entry form.

6. Draw Size: Draw size will be 64 in Boys & Girls 18 & 16 singles events. Draw size in Boys & Girls 14 and 12 singles will be 32.

7. Official Alternate List: Players on the official alternate list for the Copper Bowl main draw singles will move into the Copper Bowl through normal alternate procedures. A player who options to play the qualifying will still be listed on the official alternate list. If the player moves into the main draw via normal procedures, he or she will then be removed from the qualifying.

8. Late Qualifying entries: No late qualifying entries will be accepted. A player who has optioned not to play the qualifying and has remained on the official alternate list may not enter the qualifying tournament after the December 15, 2007 deadline.
